From the supplier: The characteristics of foraging perches in Glacier National Park, Montana were analyzed from 1985 to 1988 to determine the attributes that favor their selection by Bald Eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus). The main factor influencing perch selection seems to be proximity to foraging areas. Other factors include intensity of human activity, the view afforded by the perch and accessibility of the perch.
